About The Course

Improving the bottom line through performance, accountability and productivity

This is a two-day course designed to give engineering/geoscience firm managers the specific tools and skills they need to manage performance and ensure their employees’ ongoing commitment to superior results.  This course was designed by an engineer with an Education PhD.  Case studies are relevant to engineering environments.

Correcting poor performance and performance related problems is a task most managers avoid because they don’t know how to discuss problems effectively with employees. This course addresses this dilemma, and managers emerge with a step-by-step way to give corrective feedback.

The course material can be immediately applied on-the-job. It is our aim to provide our clients with soft skills training that gets results. Managers manage better which improves the quality of work life for both employees, and their managers.

This course is not appropriate for new supervisors. It is appropriate for supervisors, operations, project and administration managers with more than 6 months experience; and senior leaders and executives.

The 2017 course cost for engineeers is $1,900.00 all inclusive:

14 Professional Development Hours credited to APEGBC & APEGGA Members

  • two days of small group instruction relevant to leaders in all industries
  • all course materials including a textbook entitled Coaching for Commitment
  • all food (morning, two breaks, lunch each day)

Maximum enrollment is 20 participants. Seats are held on a first come, first served basis.
