Einblau Executive Forum - March 27, 2007

Dr. Roslyn Kunin presented an engaging view of the BC and Alberta economic growth forecast for the next ten years and its direct impact on the ability of business to secure and retain the human resources required to meet the increasing business demands. Dr. Kunin debunked the myths that things will cool off after 2010 thereby easing the presssure of finding adequate human resources, and the myth that we can count on immigration to fill our needs - when in fact we are facing increasing international competition for resources. The solutions Dr. Kunin proposed were pragmatic, close to home, and within our own control.
