Emotional Intelligence Inventory
The Emotional Intelligence Inventory The Bar-On EQ-i
High IQ combined with high EQ equals success in working and personal life. It also means superb leadership skills. In other words, well-developed emotional skills can lead to success in real life. Solid emotional intelligence is what sets intelligent people who succeed at work apart from those who are derailed.
While IQ is “set”, EQ can develop with attention and time. This is the core reason that we have added the EQ-i (Emotional Intelligence Inventory) to Einblau & Associates’ services.
The Bar-On EQ-i helps people to understand their emotional and social functioning. Developed using rigorous research standards, this Inventory accurately defines and assesses 15 competencies that constitute Emotional Intelligence, and is the only self-report emotional intelligence assessment scientifically demonstrated to be both reliable and valid the two criteria that all tests must meet in order to be trustworthy.
The EQ-i provides the respondent with an assessment of 15 emotional intelligence competencies with explanations and suggestions for development (where necessary). The assessment display falls into three categories: Area for Enrichment, Effective Functioning and Enhanced Skill.
The Bar-On EQ-i measures the following Emotional Intelligence competencies:
